Gochujang by Bibigo

Ich habe Bibigos Gochujang / Peperoni-Paste von Amazon gekauft. Park Seo-joon als exklusives Modell von Bibigo hat ABSOLUT nichts mit dieser Wahl zu tun. VERSPRECHEN!

Es kostete nur 4 Euro für 500 Gramm und ich dachte, es auszuprobieren.

Diese Paprikapaste schmeckt salzig und scharf. Um es für meinen Gurkensalat zu verwenden, fügte ich Mirin, Zitronensaft, Reisessig und etwas Zucker hinzu. Es schmeckt gut, scharf und frisch.

Als nächstes machte ich ein Kimchi. Ich werde jedoch nach einigen Tagen warten, bevor ich feststellen kann, ob es ein Erfolg war.

Insgesamt war ich ca. 2 Stunden in der Küche und muss noch etwas für die Kinder machen. Und vergessen wir nicht das Geschirr und die Reinigung, die danach durchgeführt werden müssen.

Auf keinen Fall etwas, das ich jeden Tag vorhabe.

I bought Bibigo’s gochujang/ hot pepper paste from Amazon.. Park Seo-joon as an exclusive model of Bibigo has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with this choice. PROMISE! It cost only 4 euro for 500 grams and I thought to give it a try.

This hot pepper paste tastes salty and hot.
To use it for my cucumber salad, I added mirin, lemon juice, rice vinegar and a bit of sugar. It tastes good, hot spicy and fresh.

Next, I made a kimchi. I will wait after some days though before I can conclude if it was a success.

Overall, I was in the kitchen for about 2 hours and I still have to make something for the kids. And let us not forget the dishes and the cleaning to be done after.

Definitely not something that I plan to do every single day.

  1. I tried some Gochujang from a different company (what I could find at my local Asia-shop) and was surprised to find it wasn’t as hot as I would have thought. I have a friend who has been to Korea numerous times and loves the food there. But he’s not a good cook and can’t really describe in a relevant way what makes it so good…

    1. It was spicy enough for me.. 🙂 but i check lots of videos and they usually add the gochujang plus pepper flakes still… probably not as hot for them too.
